2017 Elections

Election General Assembly

The Election General Assembly will be held on Thursday, October 5th, 2016 at 7 p.m. The venue where the General Assembly will be held will be confirmed in the upcoming days. During this General Assembly, posts in the Executive and Audite Committees will be up for election.

2017 Elections

This year, 4 posts in the Executive Committee (of which, 1 is for representing EMSB members) as well as all 3 posts of the Audit Committee are up for election. Any APPA member in good standing can be a candidate for the available posts.

As it was voted at the May 9, 2012 General Assembly, the APPA does not mass mail their members in preparation for the Election General Assemblies anymore. Since 2013, all documents related to the elections are made available on the APPA website.

Please note that only the original form, signed by the candidate and three APPA members in good standing, supporting the candidate, will be accepted. The form must be sent to Stéphane Thouin, Secretary of election, by regular mail, internal mail or in hand at the APPA offices at this address: 3340, boul. de l’Assomption, Suite 200, Montréal, H1N 3S4. Any form sent by email, fax or photocopied will be voided on reception.

The deadline for submitting the Candidate Registration Forms is Friday, September 22, 2017 at noon. Any Candidate Registration Form received after this deadline will be voided on reception.
