The APPA is affiliated with the CSN and is a member of the FEESP (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des employ\u00e9es et employ\u00e9s des services publics).<\/p>\n<p>The APPA averages more than 8000 members annually. The CSN is comprised of 300,000 workers spread over 1,700 unions, working in 4,394 work places.&nbsp; There are nine federations at the CSN, ours, at the APPA, being the FEESP (<u>F<\/u>\u00e9d\u00e9ration des <u>E<\/u>mploy\u00e9s et <u>E<\/u>mploy\u00e9es des <u>S<\/u>ervices <u>P<\/u>ublic); in English the Federation of Public Service Employees.&nbsp; Each union affiliated with the CSN holds its own accreditation certificate and is <b><i>master<\/i><\/b> of its own syndical life.<\/p>\n<p>At the CSN, syndical life in each region is joined together around the Central Council (Conseil Central).&nbsp; There are 13 Central Councils throughout Quebec. The Central Council units all the CSN unions within its territory.<\/p>\n<p>Our Central Council is Metropolitan Montreal.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<div class=\"su-heading su-heading-style-default su-heading-align-center\" id=\"\" style=\"font-size:13px;margin-bottom:20px\"><div class=\"su-heading-inner\">\n<h2><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Employ\u00e9s et Employ\u00e9es des Services Publics (FEESP-CSN)<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The <a href=\"https:\/\/feesp.csn.qc.ca\/\">FEESP-CSN<\/a> was founded in 1947 under the name \u201cF\u00e9d\u00e9ration des employ\u00e9s municipaux\u201d, the FEESP is comprised of 389 affiliated unions representing 49,817 members working in the public\/para-public service.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<div class=\"su-heading su-heading-style-default su-heading-align-center\" id=\"\" style=\"font-size:13px;margin-bottom:20px\"><div class=\"su-heading-inner\">\n<h2><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18.6667px;\">Secteur soutien scolaire (School Support Sector)<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>The School Support Sector (Secteur soutien scolaire)<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Federation (FEESP) is divided into 7 sectors. <a href=\"https:\/\/feesp.csn.qc.ca\/secteurs\/school-sector\/\">The School Support Sector<\/a> (which is the sector we belong to) has as its main mandate to negotiate our collective agreements.
