APPA First VP, Kim Watson was on the news this week commenting on the concerning results of a province wide survey by the FEESP-CSN on violence at work experienced by school support staff.
Over 6,000 school support staff across Quebec took part in a major survey conducted by the CSN’s Health, Safety and Environment Service. Their voices paint a powerful, and troubling, picture of the reality faced by those who keep our schools running every day.
These results highlight a deep need for change, safer workplaces, real support from employers, and genuine recognition of the essential role school support staff play in the education system.
