General Assembly | Elections and Budget

The assembly will take place on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at École Secondaire Georges-Vanier at 7:00 p.m. 

During this assembly, the 2023 budget achievements will be presented, and elections will be held for APPA union executive positions.

List of Candidate Applications


If there are no candidates in the list for a particular executive seat, a member in good standing may present themselves in person at the General Assembly to be nominated for the vacant seat.  No application forms may be accepted after Monday September 16th at noon.

How to Apply as a Candidate


Please note that only the original form, signed by the candidate and three APPA members in good standing, supporting the candidate, will be accepted. The form must be sent to Jacqueline De Monteiro, Secretary of election, by regular mail, internal mail or in person at the APPA offices at this address: 3340, boul. de l’Assomption, Suite 200, Montréal, H1N 3S4. Any form sent by email, fax or photocopied will be voided on reception.

The deadline for submitting the Candidate Registration Form is Monday, September 16th, 2024 at noon. Any candidate registration form received after this deadline will be voided on reception.

As it was voted at the May 9, 2012 General Assembly, the APPA does not mass mail their members in preparation for the Election General Assemblies anymore. Since 2013, all documents related to the elections are made available on the APPA website.
