National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
The rich and diverse cultures of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples were almost lost to the world. We cannot undo the past, but we can recognize, honour and give back the power to those who can keep their nations and cultures alive. This day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
