Skills Training Certificate | Daycare Educator
Are you interested in working as a daycare educator at an EMSB elementary school?
The EMSB, AEVS and SHADD Health & Business Centre are proud to offer a Skills Training Certificate (STC) course as a daycare educator uniquely for EMSB Daycares.
As per the classification plan, employees who wish to work as a school daycare educator must hold a Secondary School Diploma and a Skills Training Certificate (STC) of School Daycare Educator or equivalent attestation with one year of pertinent experience.
Upon completion of the STC, all candidates will be required to pass an interview prior to being employed as an EMSB daycare employee.
Program information:
The program will start on April 7, 2022 and end on May 29, 2023 and is divided into two sessions listed below:
First session: | April 7th, 2022 to June 28th, 2022. |
Second session: | September 6th, 2022 to May 29th, 2023. |
The program schedule is 4 days a week in the mornings:
Days: | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday |
Time: | 9:05 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. (8 hours per week) |
