The theme of this year’s National Occupational Health and Safety Week, held from October 16 to 22, is Keeping Everyone Healthy Every Day. Occupational health and safety issues were and continue to be an integral part of union actions to stay healthy every single day!
While occupational health and safety laws were amended in the fall of 2021, real structural and positive changes for workers are slow to come. It is against this backdrop that the confederation invites its activists and unions to continue the daily fight for occupational health and safety. For more than 100 years, the CSN has demanded working conditions that respect the physical and psychological integrity of workers.
National OHS Week 2022 is an opportunity to remind workers of their power to act and negotiate on issues of occupational health and safety, as well as their responsibilities and obligations regarding occupational health and safety.

We wish you a great National OHS Week 2022!
