As most of you already know, we are officially going on strike from Midnight until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 6th.
We will be picketing in front of our workplaces from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at which point we will be reporting to work to finish the remainder of our regularly scheduled shift.
It is important that we show up in large numbers to send a strong message to the government that we deserve better!
Please scan the QR code (and link) so that APPA members can register for the strike fund before November 13th. You can also go to your delegate to help you with this. Please inform your delegate once you have filled out the form.
It is imperative that every APPA member fills this form out, or you will not have access to any money from the CSN if our strike action goes beyond 3 days.
A sheet with the most frequently asked questions is also attached. We know there are a lot of questions, and we are doing our best to get the answers out quickly. Your delegate will likely be able to answer most of them. If not, please email any of the following:
