The 2024 APPA (After) New Year’s Party was a tremendous success! Over 250 APPA members came out to celebrate the beginning of 2024 together. Eating, drinking and of course, lots of dancing took place all night long.

Saturday, September 30th we had our annual National Support Staff Day celebration. This year we held a BBQ in the APPA backyard followed by bowling night at Salle de quilles Moderne!

It was a fantastic day for the largest rally in history for the Common Front. One hundred thousand demonstrators from all over Quebec met at Jean-Mance Park on Saturday. Making their way to the Quartier des Spectacles in a parade over 2 kilometres long!
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Show that every child matters. Wear orange tomorrow (Thursday, September 30th) to honour the lost children and survivors of residential schools.
National Support Staff Day in Education
Supported by the Fédération des employées et employés de services publics-CSN (FEESP-CSN), this day highlights the essential contribution made by thousands of workers in school service centres, CEGEPs and universities in Quebec.
2019 National Support Staff Day
Once again this year the APPA will celebrate the National Support Staff Day with its members. We are pleased to invite you to celebrate this event with us at Montreal’s Botanical Gardens’ Chinese Light Garden. This event will give us all the opportunity to fraternise with other APPA members.

Members will receive their free ticket by registering at the APPA tent. All members must either show their APPA union card or a valid provincial photo ID in order to register.

- We will be ready to greet you from 5 to 8 P.M. at Montreal’s Botanical Garden. Our Big Top Tent will be situated next to the ticket booth
- You will be required to present your APPA union member’s card or a provincial photo ID card in order to get your free ticket. Any non-members will be required to pay their own entrance fee at the Botanical Garden’s ticket booth.
- A cold buffet and a drink will be exclusively served to our members, without charge, at the APPA’s Big Top Tent.
- Although the Big Top Tent will only remain open until 9 P.M., the access to the site is authorized until 10 P.M.
- Please take note that except for the one included drink, no drinks will be sold at our venue. A food stand and vending machines are available on site.
